When privacy comes first
A local single-user workstation is the most direct form of Alcilla: personal content such as notes, chat histories, local knowledge, and Recorder data can be processed on your device. Alcilla does not transmit product telemetry. External connections arise only from configured functions, for example to mail servers, calendars, research services, or model endpoints.
No tracking, no telemetry
Alcilla transmits no product data. Your emails, chat histories, and working data do not leave your system unless a function you have configured requires communication with an external service.
AI on your computer
You load language models individually through Ollama. You control storage requirements, compute resources, and which models run—Alcilla makes recommendations but does not impose defaults.

Your knowledge belongs exclusively to you. External knowledge sources for research are added only when you explicitly choose to use them.
