Standard Support is aimed at businesses that need technical assistance for setup, operations and typical enquiries. It is particularly suitable for named administrators or technical contacts within a company.
Premium Support is for customers who want more intensive assistance, deeper technical analysis or prioritised help. This level of support is ideal when Alcilla is used in business-critical situations or connected to multiple systems.
End-user Support means that not only admins can receive support, but individual users too.
Per user means: the price applies per active user who uses Alcilla. This covers, for example, Alcilla.Desk packages or Alcilla.Station usage per end user.
Per admin means: the price refers to named technical contacts or admins who receive support. This is relevant for Standard Support and Premium Support.
Per server means: the price applies to a central server component, not to each individual user. This covers, for example, Alcilla.Nexus or Alcilla.Hub when providing central services for multiple workstations.
Yes. With a monthly subscription you can cancel monthly or adjust packages at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing month.
With Lifetime you pay the licence fee once. As stated on our pricing page, this includes one year of security updates and the option to switch to a subscription later.
With Subscription you pay regularly, monthly or annually. This includes feature updates and security updates for as long as your subscription is active.
Yes, but it depends on the licensing model. With Subscription, feature updates and security updates are included. With Lifetime, security updates are included for one year. After that, switching to a subscription may be useful if you want access to new features and ongoing security updates.
Yes, Alcilla is modularly designed. You can start with a smaller package and add extra functions, add-ons or operation models later. The documentation describes how Alcilla can be run on a single workstation or as a combination of local workstations and central services.
You need Alcilla.Nexus if your company operates its own AI servers and wants to make them available centrally for several Alcilla workstations. Nexus bundles your existing AI servers and provides a unified gateway function. The actual AI infrastructure remains in your environment.
In short: choose Nexus if you have your own AI infrastructure and want to connect it cleanly to Alcilla.
You need Alcilla.Station if you don't want to run your own AI infrastructure or want to outsource certain compute-intensive services. These include, for example, AI models, document conversion, transcription, search and research. Alcilla.Station is hosted on Alaska Labs infrastructure.
In short: choose Station if you want to use AI capabilities without running your own AI servers.
You need Alcilla.Hub when several users should work with shared knowledge databases, shared Kanban boards or central corporate rights. Hub supports OIDC login via an existing identity provider, central knowledge services and shared boards with access management.
In short: choose Hub when Alcilla is growing from a single-user solution to a team or company solution.
Not always. Alcilla.Desk can be run locally or with your own AI infrastructure. Alcilla.Station becomes relevant when you don't want to operate your own AI hardware or want certain AI services such as transcription, document conversion, search or models as a managed service.
That depends on the chosen operation model. In local single-user mode, emails, notes, chat histories and work data remain exclusively local. In central or outsourced service models you decide which functions are operated centrally or processed through Alcilla.Station. The operation models can be combined.
Alcilla.Nexus is the gateway for your own AI infrastructure. Your AI servers remain in your environment; Nexus bundles them and makes them accessible to local Alcilla workstations.
Alcilla.Station is a managed service by Alaska Labs. Alaska Labs provides the AI servers and runs compute-intensive services for you.
For individuals or small work areas, an Alcilla.Desk package is usually sufficient. Depending on your functional needs, you can choose Base, Standard or Pro. And if additional AI power is needed and no infrastructure exists, Alcilla.Station can be added.
For teams the SME model is usually appropriate since besides Alcilla.Desk-packages it includes central modules like Alcilla.Nexus, Alcilla.Hub and support options. This becomes especially relevant as soon as several users work with shared knowledge, shared boards or central AI infrastructure.
Then a short consultation is recommended. Alcilla can be run locally, centrally, via your own AI infrastructure or with Alcilla.Station. Since these models can be combined, the right option should be chosen based on your number of users, infrastructure, data privacy requirements and desired functions.
