Product overview
Alcilla.Desk is a local or self-hosted work platform with AI assistance. It connects information that is often separated in day-to-day work: emails, documents, notes, meetings, tasks, calendars, and Kanban boards.
The focus is on three questions:
-
What is important? Alcilla.Desk summarizes content and highlights potential tasks, appointments, and decisions.
-
What is already known? The knowledge index searches emails, documents, notes, and other sources together.
-
What needs to happen next? Detected information can be turned into tasks, appointments, meeting minutes, draft replies, or Kanban entries.
Typical workflows
Turn an email into an actionable task
A new message can be summarized and checked for appointments or tasks. The user decides which suggestions to accept. A draft reply can take existing approved knowledge into account.
Turn a meeting into a traceable result
A recording can be transcribed and prepared as meeting minutes. Decisions and tasks can then be processed further and—when a suitable system integration is configured—transferred to a task system.
Legal notice: Meetings may be recorded only when all participants have been explicitly informed before recording begins and have consented to the recording. Users are responsible for obtaining all required consent and complying with all applicable legal, data protection, employment-law, and internal requirements. Alcilla.Desk does not determine whether recording or further processing is legally permissible in a particular case. Responsibility for legally compliant use lies with the person or organization using the product.
Turn distributed documents into usable knowledge
Office documents and PDF files can be prepared as Markdown files for search. Alcilla.Desk can then answer questions across multiple sources and display the supporting passages.
Turn a question into structured research
When web search is configured, Alcilla.Desk can investigate a question step by step: plan the search, read sources, consolidate findings, and create a report.

What Alcilla.Desk deliberately does not prescribe
Alcilla.Desk is not tied to a single language model. The company can specify:
- which models are used,
- where those models are operated,
- which data sources are connected,
- which functions may contact external systems,
- which content is available locally or shared.
User control
AI results are suggestions and working aids. People must retain subject-matter control over tasks, appointments, replies, and meeting minutes. Alcilla.Desk is therefore designed to display results, allow them to be reviewed, and enable deliberate further use only afterward.
